What is an alias and what are they good for?

An alias is like a virtual e-mail address.  It is like a link to your real e-mail address.  Let's say you wanted to recieve a newsletter, but you knew that you would want to unsubscribe later on.  So you would call or e-mail us at FamilyNet, and ask for an alias.  Then you would give that alias to the website or person that is sending out the newsletter.  Later on if you didn't want to recieve that newsletter any more, call us and tell us you want that alias removed.  Keep in mind that you can not send e-mail from an e-mail address, you can only recieve e-mail with an alias.
