FamilyNet Internet connectivity is provided over redundant connections to UUNET, and Cox Communications. Routing is provided by multiple Cisco backbone routers that speak BGP for uninterrupted connectivity.

12/31/2006 SERVER MAINTENANCE
The E-Mail server (mail.familynet.net) has under gone a major upgrade. Please contact us if you are having any problems.
12/30/2006 SERVER MAINTENANCE
Mail will be down for Maintenance December 12th 11:00 PM CST to December 31st 6:00 AM CST for upgrades.
8/1/2005 NETWORK MAINTENANCE
We are in the process of switching over all IPs to a new IP range. This will will take a few weeks. If you notice any problems please contact support@familynet.net.

Jan 12 - 8:18pm We are currently performing maintenance on our mail server. There could be times where the mail server is not accessible.
12/9/2004 PROBLEM FIXED
MAIL SERVER: We are currently having troubles with a mail server. If you have an @familynet.net e-mail address, you will not be able to access it. Please bear with us during this time. Repair and upgrade is in process.
6/7/2004 PROBLEM FIXED
June 2 & 3, 2004- Due to wide spread power failures across the city of Tulsa, we lost all our connections to the internet. Power was restored Thursday evening.

March 10, 2004- We are currently in the process of changing providers of a T-1 line on our network. Web pages hosted on our network might load slower than normal. SDSL customers might notice a slowdown during high traffic periods of the day. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
1/16/2004 PROBLEM FIXED
January 12 2004 - We are experiencing an unknown problem with our SBC ATM connection and mapping that directly affects our SBC aDSL customers. Customers report intermittent connection, very slow connection or had no connection at all. We are still trying to resolve the issue. Please contact tech support to notify us if you are having this problem. Our SDSL business class customers are not affected.
8/2/2003 PROBLEM FIXED
CONNECTION PROBLEMS - Outage due to Telco Central Office Failure. All services affected during this outage.
7/11/2003 UPGRADE
A new high speed filter has been installed that eliminates all latency caused by the filtering process. In addition, the new system uses Artificial Intelligence to scan and categorized visited websites.
7/10/2003 PROBLEM FIXED
POWER PROBLEMS - Power problems casued file server instability on the mail servers. Users would experience problems send or receiving mail.
5/11/2003 PROBLEM FIXED
POSSIBLE SLOW-DOWN - SBC and COX backbone Internet connections currently down. Techs from these providers are working on the issue. All Traffic is currently routed through MCI/UUNET backbone. Degradation in speed could occur during this time.
